The African Women Leadership Conference (AWLC 2026) is proud to announce the appointment of distinguished members to its Scientific Commission, highlighting the event’s commitment to academic excellence, legal expertise, and pan-African perspectives on women’s empowerment and leadership.Scheduled to take place from March 5th to 7th, 2026, in Casablanca, Morocco, the AWLC 2026 will convene thought leaders, scholars, policymakers, and advocates to explore innovative strategies for advancing women’s roles in governance, law, society, and economic development across the continent.A key highlight is the formation of the Scientific Commission, tasked with ensuring the conference’s program is rigorous, research-driven, and impactful.We are honored to welcome the following esteemed members:

  • Yassir Salah (President of the Scientific Commission)
    Yassir Salah serves as a prominent academic at Université Abdelmalek Essaâdi, where he is Responsible for the Research Team in Legal and Political Sciences Studies. He holds leadership positions including President of GIMA (an NGO initiative for international judicial and mediation efforts in Africa) and is deeply engaged in legal policy and mediation initiatives.
  • Hind Tak-Tak (Member)
    Dr. Hind Tak-Tak is a Doctor in Private Law from the University of Lille. She is an accomplished educator, researcher, author, and Director of the Laboratory on Comparative Law, Societies, and Systems (UH2C). She coordinates the Master’s program in Legal and Judicial Careers, and leads the Legal Clinic at Casablanca. Her work bridges academia and practical legal applications.
  • Faiza Alaoui (Member)
    Professor Faiza Alaoui specializes in Private Law and serves as Coordinator of the Master’s programs DIA/DAEB. She is Vice Dean responsible for Scientific Research, Cooperation, and Partnerships at the Ministry of Justice. An accredited arbitrator with the Ministry of Justice, she is affiliated with the Faculty of Legal, Economic, Social, and Judicial Sciences at Université Abdelmalek Essaâdi in Tangier.

These appointments reflect AWLC 2026’s dedication to fostering high-level intellectual discourse and actionable outcomes for African women’s leadership.
